Grainger County Park Rental Procedures and Rules

Grainger County Park is open year around. However, restroom facilities and water utilities are winterized and closed at Thanksgiving and are opened again the following April. Reservations are taken during this time.
Pavilion 1: Reservations are on a first come, first serve basis. The reservation fee of $40.00 reserves the single pavilion for an entire day. This includes tables and electricity. Water access or any other utility or product is not included at any time for this pavilion and must be provided by the renter. Restrooms are located in the center of the playground. Handicap accessible restrooms are located and available for use at any time at Pavilion 2.
Pavilion 2: Reservations are on a first come, first serve basis. The reservation fee of $40.00 reserves the single pavilion for an entire day. This includes tables and electricity. Water access or any other utility or product is not included at any time for this pavilion and must be provided by the renter. Restrooms are located in the center of the playground. Handicap accessible restrooms are located and available for use at any time at Pavilion 2.
Pavilion 1 & 2: Reservations are on a first come, first serve basis. The reservation fee of $100.00 reserves both pavilions for an entire day. This includes tables and electricity. Water access or any other utility or product is not included at any time for these pavilions and must be provided by the renter. Restrooms are located in the center of the playground. Handicap accessible restrooms are located and available for use at any time at Pavilion 2. 
Small Sheds: These sheds are on a first come first serve basis and are NEVER RENTED OR RESERVED. You may NOT post your own reserved signs or hold these sheds for any time outside of your occupied use.
Reservations: Reservations for upcoming years begin January 1st of that yearReservations are only taken over the phone or in person at the Parks and Recreation office and must be accompanied by the park rental agreement (download a rental agreement below). A reservation will not be given until payment has been made. Grainger County Parks and Recreation accepts cash or check and major credit cards (for a small per transaction fee) to assist you in your reservations.

Rules:

  • Leave the pavilion and grounds in good order and place your trash in the trash cans. Please clean up any mess you may have made.
  • ABSOLUTELY NO OUTSIDE TRASH. Please only put park usage trash in the containers. Containers cannot be emptied often enough to sustain personal or household trash. Convenience centers are located throughout the county to accommodate your personal/household waste.
  • There is absolutely NO ALCOHOL OR DRUGS allowed in the park.
  • NO CAMPING allowed in the park.
  • There is to be NO DRIVING INSIDE FENCE OR ON WALKING TRAILS FOR ANY REASON. All walking trails are marked.
  • If someone is using your reserved pavilion upon your arrival, show them your reservation receipt.
  • Absolutely no use or display of any firearm.
  • No fireworks
  • No Fires of any kind. Grilling is allowed in stationary park grills only.
  • Please leave all plants, trees, and flowers alone for others to enjoy after your visit. Do not prune, clip, or steal any plant.
  • MOST IMPORTANT RULE….HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
